[Smashy the Hammer] [An Aspiring Luddite]
I carry no phone
An aspiring Luddite
In a wired world.

A Fallen Colossus
19 June 2018
Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
And I shall place the children in cages
And arrest the parents.
Freedom is not for you,
Freedom is for the native-born
(If not the natives),
Those whose parents or grandparents
Were welcomed here.
Against you, the door is barred.
There is no room at the inn,
And if you seek shelter in the stables
Or lay your child in the manger
I shall set the dogs on you.

NB: The first line, of course, is a quote from "The New Colossus" by Emma Lazarus, which is graven at the foot of the Statue of Libery.
